Urban Seeds Grow is advancing community-led development across food systems, education, workforce development, housing, arts and culture, public health, and community wellness. Our leadership offices support this work by developing partnerships, mobilizing resources, advancing projects, and connecting Newark residents to opportunities for participation, leadership, and economic mobility.
Each office is actively working to advance Urban Seeds Grow's mission and is currently seeking an Officer to help lead its next phase of growth. We welcome experienced professionals, community leaders, entrepreneurs, practitioners, and emerging leaders who are ready to contribute their knowledge, networks, and skills to lasting community impact.

Urban Seeds Grow is seeking dedicated Officers who can strengthen the work already underway and help expand its reach, partnerships, resources, and long-term impact. We welcome applicants who bring professional expertise, lived experience, strong community relationships, and a commitment to Newark's future.

Compensation and additional benefits: These are proposed volunteer governance and advisory opportunities unless otherwise specified. Stipends, honoraria, professional development support, travel reimbursement, or other benefits may be offered when approved and funding is available; they are not guaranteed.
Office assignments, titles, decision-making authority, reporting relationships, and any voting or fiduciary responsibilities are governed by Urban Seeds Grow's bylaws and applicable Board-approved policies. Performance indicators guide planning and accountability and are reviewed in relation to each office's approved workplan and available resources.
